What is the purpose of a thin, foldable mat? You can use this ultra-thin, lightweight mat as a travel mat or as an over-mat on top of another mat. In this way, you can use the mat lent to you by the studio where you’re practising and still have your own personal, hygienic contact surface in the material of your choice.

The ultra-thin mats offered by YOGANEST, whether in cork or velvet, have a fine, even underlay of natural rubber. They stay in place without wrinkling or turning over when you move – even when you jump, for example, as in Ashtanga. This is a definite advantage over « yoga towels » which, even with pimples, tend to move a bit too much…

• Do not machine wash or use soap!
• To clean it from time to time, spray with a homemade stain remover-disinfectant (advice from the Yogamatata brand): ½ water or floral hydrosol + ½ household white vinegar + just a few drops of essential oils if you feel like it. Then rub gently with a soft sponge or clean microfibre cloth
• Yogom Spray can also be used, as it contains no vinegar or alcohol.
• Always leave your carpet to dry completely (in the shade) before rolling or folding it.[/accordion_item][/accordion]
